My first born was three with second on the way. I longed for adventure.
An 1,100 mile trail traces the furthest advances of the last Ice Age exists;
with 157 miles uninterrupted just out my backdoor...how far would I go?
Envisioned a solo expedition; mitigating risk with contingency planning.
Built a performance baseline; trekked 15 miles nightly to exceed expectation.
Aligned my mind, spirit & body to continue to place one foot, then the next.
Completed 63 miles in 2.5 days | 2 nights alone; finished all 157 the next year.
